N E W S F R O M N O D A L C E N T R E
Our Nodal Centre collects discipline-wise data from all the degree and diploma Institutions situated in the States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & U.T. Chandigarh. After collecting the data, the same is analysed to prepare reports i.e. Annual Technical Manpower Reviews (ATMR) for the each State under the Jurisdiction of our Nodal Centre. Till February, 2003, our Nodal Centre has submitted 63 nos. of ATMR’s to the lead centre for publications.
State Advisory Committee
All Nodal Centres have their own State Advisory Committee. Meeting of the State Advisory Committee is held every year in our Nodal Centre comprising the Ex officio members like Directors of the Technical Education of the concerned States, Directors of Industries of the concerned States, two Project Officers from the neighbouring Nodal Centres and a representative from the AICTE, New Delhi, and from the Lead Centre, New Delhi.
Role
- Ensuring coordination between the Nodal Centre & various State Govt.
Departments, organisations and Educational Institutions.
- Resolving the issues & problems faced by the Nodal Centre for answering
its smooth functioning.
